Chinese Digital: The new lifestyle influences

Saturday 19 January — 15:00 - 15:30
The retail lab

Description

For Chinese new generations, hyper connected and early adopters of the latest technologies; Chinese applications such as WeChat or Weibo, represent much more than simple tools. They are anchored in their daily lifestyle, setting up new socialization and consumptions norms within their influential communities.
This phenomenon directly impacts the relationship of those new generations to brands, as well as their shopping journey. Becoming « social shoppers », they create new interaction and new expression codes that are here to rethink and adapt the brand positioning and communication strategies.
