Between republic, Arts and Crafts, the Vertbois district brings together the best of the Parisian avant-garde.
In full confinement, while many Parisian shops lowered their curtain, for some definitely, new commercial leases continued to sign in the Vertbois district. And not least: In autumn, To Share, the restaurant of Pharell Williams and Jean Imbert already present in Saint-Tropez, will open its Parisian table. The reason for this attraction? Between the streets of Notre-Dame de Nazareth, Volta, and Vertbois, a revolution has been taking place for several months. Led by a collective of merchants and the investment fund Patrizia, a new neighborhood is emerging, both a place of life and creation. Their common point: a spirit of independence and avant-garde that makes each point of sale unique.
Food looms, fashion, design, art galleries, services, behind each stall is a real designer. A few years ago, these streets of Paris were dying. It is now a village, where curiosity is just around the corner. Several brands participate in Paris Design Week. Front de Mode, one of the first stores installed, offers up-cycling and responsible fashion, as well as Ambassade Excellence which for the occasion presents its partnership with the French watch brand Kelton. At We do Not work alone, we find everyday objects drawn by artists. At La Serviette Paris, the linen is as soft as the prices. Bows and Arrows, the concept store dedicated to contemporary Japanese handicrafts, is located on Notre-Dame de Nazareth street, a stone’s throw from Summer 85, which offers a selection of decorations. On Rue Vertbois, Pierre Gonalons designed the Rupture Records Store. On September 18th, at the end of Paris Design Week, the district organizes a popular dance in its streets. Energetic, iconoclastic, and stimulating.
