An Xiao has always had a warm, creative and enchanting personality. She is someone who strives to discover new things and meet new people. After completing her higher education in Switzerland, and with the encouragement of her parents, An Xiao crossed the Atlantic to study design. Los Angeles was where it all began. With its cultural diversity and incredible energy, it is a place where anything can happen and it was inspirational for An Xiao. This was the birthplace of her passion for creation, and in particular for fashion design. While at university, she enjoyed sharing her outfit ideas, her taste for refinement and her aesthetic. An Xiao quickly managed to charm her peers, who nicknamed her “The Chinese Stylist”. Her entrepreneurial character lead her on to open two boutiques in the city of Angels in 2006 and 2012. When she is not working, she primarily travels in Europe. She is fascinated by the culture and luxury craftsmanship in France, Italy and Switzerland and by the richness, quality and historical legacy of the big fashion houses, such as Hermès, her first French inspiration. In 2015, An Xiao decided to move back to Beijing to devote herself to this love of fashion. Initially just to entertain friends, she created a Weibo account and posted Xiao’s Daily looks every day. After only a few weeks, she had become a social media sensation and her advice was being followed by thousands of internet users. She became an unstoppable and iconic influencer of current trends, building the first online Chinese social network Weibo community. An Xiao has a strong focus for the future: she wants to invest herself fully in the world of the arts.
