After a “first life” in fashion at Lanvin, Lagerfeld, and Givenchy, he has created apartments, villas, and boutiques in Europe, the U.S., the Caribbean, and Asia, and has created designs for Christofle, CTO, Petit h, Astec, Vervloet, la Manufacture Cogolin, and more recently, Pouenat. After a period as Artistic Director at Christofle, he has worked with brands such as Giobagnara, Dragonfly, and recently, The Webster Home.

Joséphine Fossey

Joséphine Fossey

Co-Founder - Atelier 27

Having gained experience in the art market, notably at the Hôtel Drouot and as a specialist in the Impressionism and Modern Art department at Christie’s in Paris, Joséphine Fossey co-founded Atelier 27 in 2014. Between curation, scenography and artistic direction, Atelier 27 composes elegant spaces by channeling the beauty of art and exceptional craftsmanship. This creative lab – fueled by 15 talents – never ceases to build bridges between places and cultures, bringing together international artists and local craftsmen, in order to create unique and astounding masterpieces. A monumental sculpture, a hotel lobby decorative and flower composition, a library’s book collection, a restaurant’s table setting. Atelier 27 awakens a space’s soul and enhances experiences through a holistic approach. With references such as the iconic Hotel Lutetia in Paris, a private collector’s high-end villa in Hong Kong or the first ultra-luxury expedition ship Seabourn Venture in America, each project illustrates a bespoke range of creation, tailored to its own location, its own history. A singular narrative that Atelier 27 collects, nurtures and interprets through voice to artists, designers and craftsmen.
