Architect & Founder - Thierry Lemaire
Thierry Lemaire defines himself as a designer in the great tradition of French decorative arts. Trained as an architect, he applies his timeless, elegant and comfortable style to exclusive interior architecture and decoration projects, where he combines raw materials and sophistication with particular attention to detail. His collaborative approach engages him in dialogue with his clients in order to meet their aspirations in projects that are as close as possible to their needs and desires. He creates high quality living spaces all over the world, in Beirut, Paris or Gstaad, imbued with his culture, his vision of the French art of living and the know-how of the craftsmen with whom he collaborates. His practice also leads him to sign scenographies for fairs and events such as AD Intérieurs. Author of a prestigious private club on the Place de la Concorde, Thierry Lemaire has multiplied his projects for public places, hotels and restaurants. He also designs furniture for Fendi Casa for whom he imagines contemporary collections in a privileged relationship and collaborates with Dior who selects certain pieces of furniture for its showrooms and boutiques. In love with generous and refined lines, he self-publishes part of his creations, relying on an ecosystem of art craftsmen that he presents in his gallery located on rue de Beaune, in the heart of the Antiquaries district. It is this excellence that led the Mobilier National to choose Thierry Lemaire to furnish the salons of the Elysée Palace as well as the President's office, and to make him a contemporary ambassador of French decorative arts.
Designer and Master of Arts
Pierre Bonnefille is a French artist, painter, designer and ‘Maître d’art’ (Art Master) of a singular and poetic approach. Born in 1958 in Saint-Quentin in the North of France, he has lived and worked in Paris since 1985. Pierre Bonnefille is a chromatic alchemist. He draws inspiration from his journeys and distils the colors he encounters into the infinite richness of his work. The material, colours and light are inseparable in Pierre Bonnefille’s work. The artist creates his own materials and textures, made from mineral powder, limestone, lava, marble, earth, from natural pigments and metallic powders. A veritable explorer, Pierre Bonnefille draws his inspiration from the colours of nature and his architectural references in Venice, Pompei and even Kyoto. Pierre Bonnefille creates his colour palettes starting with the earth and the materials that he collects, and then analyzes their colorimetric structures. The intensity, the colour and the movements of the light propose a ceaseless, new interpretation of colours and textures created by Pierre Bonnefille, giving them a unique and particular identity. Inpired by nature and landscapes, the lively and vibrant surfaces of Pierre Bonnefille’s work,an artist of color and material, fill the room, creating a unique experience that plays on the senses.
