Description
The French architect, Isabelle Stanislas, head of the SO-AN Agency, has been selected to re-look the reception rooms of the Elysee Palace. Her work, in cooperation with the "Mobilier National", aims to add a contemporary touch to these prestigious, sophisticated and traditional rooms.

Isabelle Stanislas was born in Fontenay-sous-Bois, next to Paris in 1970. She studied architecture in the public unit of l’école des Beaux-Arts. During that period she was inspired by art, photography, landscaping and fashion design. She started her own agency in the early 2000’s, worked in fashion, collaborated with Hermès, Céline and Cartier. She also worked on private apartments and hotels. She exhibits her universe and furniture creations in Paris, Milan and Rome. Her achitecture, interior design and creations reflect her style. She defines her essentials through her creations. In 2018, she designed a hotel in Ibiza, a restaurant, a beach, and many apartments in Paris, the Cartier shop in Monaco, a house in Comporta, a furniture line for the BSL Gallery, a tea cart for the Wallpaper hand made, a light and an armchair for the Venice Biennale.
