New regulatory instruments, new obligations and an increased level of risk for businesses, increase of people's expectations as well as the offer for new means of actions. 
8 months after the application of the GDPR, let’s make a first assessment of these new developments and the trends, particularly in terms of complaints and controls from the CNIL.

Partner - Baker McKenzie, Paris

Yann Padova joined Baker & McKenzie as a Partner in charge of the Data Protection Practice in Paris in June 2017. He is internationally recognized in digital network law, personal data and regulatory law. Yann Padova has an extensive experience in Data Protection (17 years) and served both as a regulator and now as a lawyer. In november 2017, he has been appointed “Country Leader” by the IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professional).
