Architects - Lecoadic-Scotto

Since its creation in paris in 2001, the Lecoadic-Scotto architectural firm bases each of its projects on a contextual approach to architecture far from the stylistic modes and codes of the time to serve a Atmospheric ambiance. The environment and the memory of the places they design – luxury boutiques (boucheron, aurélie bidermann, nina ricci …) Or exceptional residential properties – are an integral part of the creative process for the studio. Whether it’s a hotel in mexico or an apartment in the gardens of the palais royal, the duo formed by yann le coadic and alessandro scotto draws out the threads of the story, like archaeologists, to better reveal the strata of time/spaces they move into. Through an alchemy of materials, lines and colors, they build an unprecedented and truly contemporary narrative. Designers of sensitive spaces, lecoadic-scotto craft places that have a soul, a vibration. Their biases are willingly asserted away from the fashions and stylistic codes of the time in order to bring out in an architectural setting a clearly atmospheric ambiance. In their interiors, the delicacy of velvet, the comfort of a cushion, the nuances of a painting, the fluctuations of light combine to create a pure and singular aesthetic, accentuated by subtle dissonances and multiple sensations. Architects of their time, this tandem is passionate about technological innovation and artisanal adventures. For their projects, they develop bespoke pieces of furniture combining functionality and aesthetics, always placing handiwork at the center of their experiments. This is another way for lecoadic-scotto to infuse emotional intensity and rarity into all things.

Kristian Gavoille

Architect & Designer

Kristian Gavoille says that her career happened accidentally. Coming from this French designer and architect, born on the banks of the Congo River and raised on the Mediterranean, this word takes on a truly positive note. It leaves us to observe that destiny can prove to be right on target for those who have a gift, and that this does not prohibit humility. And this gift that has guided Gavoille like the North Star, this gift quickly led her to collaborate with Philippe Starck for a decade and brought her the Designer of the Year award in 1992, after which she launched her own firm, subsequently joined by Valérie Garcia, with whom she has been Partners since 1999.
