By 2006, he was at Groupe Fnac as Strategic Planning Manager, tasked with adapting business lines during the digital revolution. Hermite became the Strategy and Development Director for Western Europe at Avis Budget Group in 2008, focusing on strategic projects and digital services. He spearheaded the launch and development of Zipcar in continental Europe in 2014. In 2017, Hermite transitioned to an independent consultant role, aiding mobility startups in growth strategies.
