Logistics, promotion, a concierge service, shuttle buses…Maison&Objet is putting all its expertise to work to help build fluid, lasting connections between visitors to the fair and participants in the city. Discover our recipe for your future success.
Signing up for Maison&Objet In the City as a participant means benefiting from the well-oiled machine that has already been in operation over ten editions of Paris Design Week, to synchronize the fair with all that’s happening in the city. Well in advance, the Maison&Objet promotional system, with its 1.5 million followers on social media, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Pinterest, promotes the event and its participants. Newsletters and emails are sent out to a network of 480 000 professionals. Many partnerships will be in place with French and international publications, and specifically with AD, which has already been involved during Paris Design Week, with its Interior Designers’ Tour.
On the Maison-objet.com website, a specially dedicated space for the In the City tour will list its participants under the “Exhibitors” tab. The same goes for the fair’s app, where a specific section will guide visitors by type of product, tour and sector. This way, they will be able to plan their visit and set up meetings, even if the tour is self-guided and visitors can wander through it freely, at their own pace. To foster discoveries, registration as a participant also entitles you to a dedicated mini site on the MOM, Maison&Objet and More, digital networking platform, for two months. Three of your images are highlighted, and visitors can contact you directly with just one click.
The Maison&Objet In The City event will begin with a Press Day on January 19, the day before the opening of the fair, targeting the 1500 journalists, influencers and bloggers who will be converging in Paris for the fair. Each participant is free to host cocktail events and receptions, through January 24. Once the week is underway, the welcome desks at the fair will talk all about In the City. Our hosts and hostesses will be trained to guide visitors toward this event in the heart of Paris. Visitors will receive the official guide, which will have a print run of 50 000, where each participant will be described in detail, with addresses, contact information and photos included. The tour will be organized into two major zones: the Right Bank and the Left Bank. Shuttle buses every 15 minutes will provide transport links between the fair and the city. A dedicated concierge service for a select group of VIP specifiers will offer them a personal shopping service, as well as private car service. All that remains for participants to do is to set out their totems, stickers and posters in and around their showrooms…and Let the show begin!
