“It’s important to work with the right artisans: we’re drawn to each other, we work hand-in-hand, and we share a commitment to continuity and serious work.” Roman Bressan and his wife Murielle are the founders of Nobodinoz. He spent twenty years in consulting, and she was an intellectual property attorney, in Paris, then in Nice, and it was this family’s departure for Barcelona in 2006 that signaled the start of a new adventure for them. After opening two concept stores dedicated to children’s decor, the crisis that struck Spain in 2008 drove them to reinvent themselves. Their solution was to move from selling to creating products, in partnership with local artisans. Presented at major trade fairs, their iconic Arizona teepee would propel the brand into the big leagues. And what were the keys to their success? A world of enticing colors and materials at just the right price. Roman advises young entrepreneurs to follow their intuition and, especially, never ignore what it’s telling them!
