An online auction to champion current and past design.
It’s one of the best pieces of news this spring: Maison&Objet is joining forces with leading online auction house Catawiki* to thrust iconic and contemporary design firmly into the spotlight during a one-off showcase sale set to run from 23rd April to 6th May of 2021.
Key pieces from the ’50s through to the ’90s will sit alongside works from contemporary designers, providing a unique way of generating much-needed visibility at a time when face-to-face meetings with international buyers are tricky to say the least.
This inaugural sale marks the start of a year-long partnership between Maison&Objet and Catawiki, Europe’s leading design platform, with a joint webinar and a further auction to follow in September.
