While all the indicators are green, Paris Design Week announces the return of optimism. Join the movement!
Whether Paris is scoundrel, arty, or bourgeois, modern or historic, design has its place everywhere and will vibrate in all its expressions this September. During Paris Design Week, Ernest Hemingway's expression "Paris is a party" will take on its full meaning. From Pigalle to Opéra, from the Palais Royal to the Bastille, from Barbès to the Left Bank, it's a whole community that plans to meet. For visitors, it is an opportunity to rediscover magical places, since great institutions, such as the Historical Library of the City of Paris, the Gobelins, or the Carnavalet Museum, just restored, open their doors to contemporary creation. It's a walk punctuated by discoveries in the neighborhoods, where galleries, publishers, artisans, third places, makers, department stores, and designers make themselves available to meet "in real life" and dialogue around a common passion.
After a long sleep, the participants are eager to unveil more than a year of creations. Paris Design Week offers them a spotlight thanks to its community of loyal visitors, not only the general public but also influencers, distributors, journalists, designers, and institutions. All have enthusiastically embraced this year's theme: desirable development. To be beautiful and sustainable, to change attitudes, to be inventive to seduce more than ever in an economy of means where the only borrowing left on the planet is that of intelligence. The major exhibitions of the Factory bring together young talents, who intuitively integrated the approach and are bluffing with creativity. In a few days, participants' registrations will be closed.
The deconfinement is now!
