Spotlight on international designers.
In just one venue and for the space of one week, this event at Galerie Joseph Rue Froissart is a unique opportunity to discover the young generation of African designers as well as a selection of projects, traditions, materials and colours from all over the world. Wander between a photography exhibition on African urban architecture organised by the Institut Français du Design, a selection of contemporary South African furniture presented by Art of Connection and the magnificent work of traditional craftsmen exhibited by Madrid Design Festival. Amongst other things, admire the results of D17/21, a project at the initiative of the Institut Français and the French Embassy in Thailand for which 43 French, Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian designers joined forces to explore traditional Asian craftsmanship. Last but not least, the presence of brands with a passion for traditional craft skills and contemporary design - such as Golden Éditions (Sara Efia Reddin) and OMOY – round off to perfection this event of the utmost quality.
