FEAU

Opéra / Concorde / Etoile

Féau & co, décor manufacturers Founded in 1875, our firm specialises in manufacturing and reproducing woodwork paneling. We only manufacture custom made pieces, unique décors inspired by our remarkable collection of ancient boiseries. We reinterpret various elements in a more modern light, playing with materials and finishes. We use traditional woodwork techniques yet we often work with more contemporary materials such as composite mouldings or steel. Many of our projects are inspired by grand names of the Art Deco period, such as Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann and Armand-Albert Rateau. For instance, when producing straw marquetry, we draw our inspiration from Jean-Michel Frank’s work whose marquetry pieces had their glory days in the 30’s. See more
