APPARTEMENT-ATELIER DE LE CORBUSIER

The apartment-studio occupies the top two floors of a totally innovative building designed between 1931 and 1934 by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret. Inscribed on the World Heritage List with seventeen other major Le Corbusier sites, it is the first residential building with glass facades. The 240m2 duplex houses Le Corbusier's home and painting studio. Bathed in light and open to nature, we find his architectural language: the free plan, the large long glass panels, the roof terrace, the polychromy and the huge pivoting doors that partition as much as they fluidify the space.
